Devas and Nature Spirits
The theme of this month’s podcast is devas and nature spirits. This three part article written by Cher Gilmore is sourced from the March, April and May 2026 issues of Share International magazine. Parts One and Two present evidence of devas and nature spirits working cooperatively with humans at Findhorn, in Scotland, and at Perelandra, in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, in the US. Part Three begins with additional experiences from individuals in Australia and New Zealand, and concludes with a metaphysical perspective and description of how these nature beings influence our weather patterns.
Some would scoff at the very concept of ‘nature spirits’ and ‘devas,’ because, in our materialistic culture, we’re trained to believe the only reality is what we can see and measure. The ancients knew, intuitively, the importance of the natural world, recognizing the interconnectedness of all things. However, with the invention of tools that allowed us to exploit and control nature’s resources, we lost that direct, co-operative relationship with the forces we depend upon for our survival. Now, as we experience the many crises created by that separative approach, we’re beginning to reassess our relationship with nature.
In multiple locations around the world, groups and individuals have re-learned experientially how beneficial it is to co-operate with, rather than overpower, natural processes. Some individuals are finding they can access their etheric vision and see nature spirits and devas — or even merge their consciousness energetically with them. Esotericists provide a parallel spiritual perspective, and even modern science has confirmed that we live in a universe much more expansive than we thought. Science and spirituality are converging.
